Built by an independent developer who prioritizes user privacy, Local Dice operates on a simple principle: your data belongs to you, stays on your device, and is never collected or transmitted to external servers without your knowledge.

1. Data Collection & Account Privacy

Local Dice does not require you to create an account, sign in with third-party credentials, or provide an email address. We do not track, collect, or store your personal identity, location data, or device analytics.

2. Local Storage & Offline Mesh Operations

To sync real-time dice rolls around your gaming table without relying on central servers, Local Dice operates entirely through local offline connections:

  • Local Device Storage: Your color palettes, saved dice configurations, and App Store transaction receipts are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage frameworks.
  • Peer-to-Peer Table Sharing: During an active session, the app shares your temporary display name and dice results directly with nearby devices over local wireless signals. This data stays strictly within your immediate table's local mesh network, never touches the internet, and automatically clears from neighboring devices over time.
  • No Analytics or Telemetry: Local Dice contains no background tracking, usage analytics, or third-party profiling scripts.

3. Customer Support & Voluntary Communication

Because your data remains on your device, the only time information is sent externally is if you choose to contact the developer directly for support. Any information you share—such as email correspondence or voluntarily attached diagnostic logs—will be used strictly to resolve your support inquiry. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

4. Purchases & Security

Premium unlocks are processed through Apple's native StoreKit framework. All payment processing, subscription management, and transaction security are handled directly by Apple. Local Dice never receives, accesses, or stores your credit card details or financial information.
